New Online Banking & Mobile App Coming September 23rd

On September 23rd, First Federal Bank of Louisiana is excited to bring you an elevated and intuitive online banking experience that makes managing your finances a breeze.

Attention QuickBooks and Quicken Users!

First Federal Bank of Louisiana is migrating to a new online and mobile banking system on September 23rd, 2025. This upgrade will require that you make changes to your QuickBooks or Quicken software, so please take action to ensure a smooth transition. Most notably, if you are using the Direct Connect method to download transactions from online banking, you will migrate to QuickBooks/Quicken Web Connect.

Conversion instructions are available below.

First Action Date: September 16th, 2025

A data file backup and a final transaction download should be completed by this date. Please make sure to complete the final download before this date since transaction history might not be available after the upgrade.

Second Action Date: September 30th, 2025

This is the action date for the remaining steps on the conversion instructions. You will complete the deactivation/reactivation of your online banking connection to ensure that you get your current QuickBooks or Quicken accounts set up with the new connection.

Conversion Instructions

Intuit aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 3-5 business days. Users are encouraged to download a QFX/QBO file during this outage. The following services may not work during the outage: Quicken Win/Mac Express Web Connect, QuickBooks Online Express Web Connect.

Black Out Period for Bill Pay, Zelle, and External Transfers

To facilitate the transition to our new online banking and mobile app, our Bill Pay, Zelle, and External Transfers services for consumer customers will be temporarily disabled from September 15 through 22. These dates are subject to change, but up-to-date information about these dates can be found on our website at www.ffbla.bank.

During this period, you will not be able to schedule, edit, or make payments through Bill Pay, Zelle, or External Transfers. We recommend that you plan accordingly by submitting or scheduling any payments before the black out period begins to avoid any disruptions. Payments that have already been scheduled or set to recur during this period will proceed as usual. This includes any incoming Zelle payments.

We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. This is a necessary step to ensure a smooth migration to our new and improved online banking system. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact our customer service team at (337) 421-1200 or (800) 860-1238 or email firstfederal@ffbla.bank.

ACH Origination

Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions are a fast, efficient method for making and receiving payments. In fact, more than $22 trillion worth of ACH credits and debits are processed every year in the United States. ACH allows you to create electronic payments and deposits and originate ACH transactions when and where you want — safely and quickly.

It’s the cost-effective way to handle routine transactions and can be used for a wide variety of payment and deposits, including direct deposit of payroll and payments to vendors. Your business can easily add ACH transactions to your financial toolbox.

Positive Pay

Positive Pay is one of the most powerful tools you can use to protect your company against check fraud. The concept is simple: when you issue a batch of checks through your accounting program, the records are imported to the Positive Pay system. As those checks are presented for payment, we compare the date, amount, etc. that was imported from your accounting system. If any discrepancies are found, the check is flagged and placed in the Positive Pay Exception list for you to review. You determine whether the check should be paid or rejected.

It’s a simple but powerful way to stop the most common types of check fraud.
